Dear Friends,

It has been awhile since I have written to you. The Anti-Aging-Articles web site is up for renewal and I am trying to decide if I should continue. I want to give you a 'heads up' about my thinking.

Reasons to continue: I often hear from some of you that the site or this newsletter has been helpful. Also, I want to counter idea that aging is a bad thing.

You know I am convinced that old age is NOT a pathological condition - that elders are important in a culture (and there is research to support that view). But many businesses send a different message. They want to make money so they tell us that looking our age is bad. Then they sell things to make us look younger.

Also there are many things we can do to keep our cognitive health that few people talk about. So why, you may ask, would I even consider not renewing the license for this site? Well, some of it is financial. It costs $300.00 a year. And then there are the hours spent reading research and adding pages to the site. I really need to earn something for the hours spent on the site.

Some of you have helped financially. A few have used the DONATION page to send a donation. Others shop from the products page (I get a small per cent from sales made through that page.) Others have seen ads that interest them and click on them. All these things bring me some income.

So here is my tentative plan...

1.If you shop on line or make travel arrangements on line I ask you to use to the PRODUCTS/SHOPPING page when you shop online. If you go through that page, I earn a small percent. Note: The Amazon link is only for the USA - I have not been able to convince them to give me other links yet.

Also there may be a few of you who would be willing to contribute something through the DONATION page.

Let's work together. I can provide information. You can let me know what you want.....and you can shop or donate to the finances....if you think this is worth continuing.

If this works out over the next year, know that I will do my utmost to give you what you tell me that you want and need. If it does not, then 2015 will be our last year.
