We all want to live a long time BUT we want our mature years to be happy, healthy and productive. Some people call it living 'Ageless' .

How do I know this?
First because of the scientific studies. But it is not just the research. I have begun to do it. Now in my 70's and I am in better shape, have fewer aches and pains AND I have more energy than I did in my 50's. It is not just that the research says this is possible. I have experienced it.
Maybe I should explain. Some twenty years ago I was beginning to have problems with my memory - I even spoke with my physician about it. At the time I was thinking - goodness if I feel this way now, what will I be like when I turn 80? That's how I got interested in Anti-Aging Articles. I began reading the research.
Then I was diagnosed with Osteopenia (thin bones). I had broken a wrist and an ankle. I was concerned. I did not want to break a hip! So I began researching that topic. After making some changes I began to reverse my bone loss. (My last dexa scan showed normal bone density! I now have a web site about that at www.osteopenia3.com.) That success of making changes based on research got me thinking that maybe there was somethings I could do about aging.
My research took on a new direction in my 60's. when I was in an auto accident. Someone ran a red light and crashed into my car. Among other things I suffered a brain injury.
When I was able to read again, I started reading everything I could about brains, about rebuilding skills after stroke or injury, about longevity and preventing senility - all things that will be covered her at Anti-Aging Articles. I was amazed to find that scientific research has found that can grow new neurons and that we can regain mental skills and prevent the deterioration so many of us expected with advanced age..
Now I was hooked. I did not stop with brain research. I began to read all sorts of studies about reversing 'age related changes'.
I've made changes in my own life and daily routine. I've found that making small changes and sticking with them until they became a normal part of my living was the way I could do it.
You know back in the Nineteenth century 65 was considered "old". Few people lived into their 70's. But things have changed. People in the are living longer. Today those over age 80 are one of the fastest growing groups. And those reaching the age of 100 (Centenarians) as well as the 'Super Centenarians' (those 110 and older) are not far behind. Suddenly there are more books and articles about this third stage of human life: Elderhood. And it turns out that lots of folks are doing well as elders.
The big question is: what will your older years be like?
Science has found that you do not have to experience a long, slow gradual decline into incapacity and senility.
You can have some real control over how you age. If you are in your forties or fifties, you can really affect big improvements. And if you are already in your 60's or 70 you can reverse some of signs of aging you've experience already. As one book title says, "You can grow younger next year".

Since I am still associated with the college where I worked, I still have access to professional scientific journals.
